Cultural heritage renewated few years back having historical background. Surrounded with different bazars(meena bazar, shaheen bazar etc) also famous for delicious fish selling here and some other mouth watering food items available here... Ghanta Ghar is Old City area, this is must visit place. It is located between Shaheen bazaar and Meena bazaar. Ghanta Ghar food street is good in taste and better in price.
Sir Cunningham Clock Tower is one of the oldest places in Peshawar. Quite a lot of buildings are still preserved and intact which belong to the same era of the tower. Lots of hustle and bustle is present specifically at night. A lot of Fish shop are present around the tower as well as traditional Kehwa and barbecue. Lights and beautiful lamps were installed to beautify the streets leading to this historic place, however most of them are now out of order and only a few are illuminated at night. This place can attract so much more visitors if the administration pays a little attention towards cleanliness and beautification of the streets in and around this historic landmark.
